Clay Birds is a multi spatial outdoor installation of slip cast ceramics. Birds were placed in varying spots throughout the environment meant to catch the eye of the particularly perceptive. Once examined, decals on the birds prompted viewers to take, move, photograph, and upload the photos of these birds to a site connected with the project. In this way the birds lived simultaneously in an ever changing physical as well as digital environment, asking the viewer/ participant to help navigate the journey.
